I _______ you. You are ________ and someday I hope to ___________ you. If it were possible, I would _________ just to meet you. If I met you I would _________. Will you __________ me? I would sing __________ to you. We would _________ when we met each other, and I would be so happy.
Anonymous asked: I was looking at your sketches and i thought they were really good. so i was wondering if you had any tips for drawing the folds and wrinkles for the clothing? thank you!
OK, so. Something one of my professors taught us was how to look at folds in reality and then work them into your art.
So, she had us take 10 photos of costuming with good drapery that we would then trace over and simplify the folds and drapes to make them artistically appealing.
The whole thing about folds and fabric is making just enough lines to give detail, but also making sure the folds work properly with the forms.
I would also recommend checking out Robert Barrett’s figure drawing book, he has a good chapter on how to draw different folds.
