i think i had too much fun with the hood. tried to make it as spine-y as possible. of course the main stripe on the top of the head would go down to the spine. what helps is that my hoode actually has this stripe already so all i’d have to do is follow the lines.
i also wonder what would be easier for all those tiny lines: thick stitches or very thin stripes of fabric? i might do that whole circle piece as one thing, maybe using a darker grey to give the hoodie-grey some contrast, and sew the whole thing on. all that piping is gonna be fun though. my goal in all of this is to not use fabric paint. i want this hoodie to be soft and comfy above all. it’s gonna make my job harder but i think it will be worth it.
