Well. Today’s May 27th in Japan.

It’s Reita’s birthday. Today, he turns 33 years of age.

Wow. Where do I even begin when it comes to this man. 

There are literally no words to describe how much I absolutely love Reita as a person, as a musician, as my bias, as my idol, and as my biggest inspiration. He’s absolutely gorgeous despite being a noseless little weirdo that I love to death. He’s such a big dork despite his usually badass and tough image. He’s an absolutely amazing bassist that inspired me to pick up a bass guitar as well. He’s kind, he’s gentle, he’s sweet, he absolutely loves and adores all of his fans, and he has never taken any of the success he’s earned for granted. He’s always reminded me that it’s okay to be myself and that it’s okay to be weird and unique. 

There is so much more I could say about all that stuff that I love about him but to be honest, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to truly put into words all my love for him.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for me these past few years, even if you might not realize it. You’ve done so much for me. You’ve made me smile when I thought I couldn’t. You introduced me to one of my most precious possessions and buddies, my lovely bass. You gave me inspiration to be myself and not be afraid of what others may think about me. You are so much more than simply being my “bias”, you are truly someone special that will forever reserve a place in my heart.
